WGUR's annual Sounds of the Spring Music Festival is this Friday starting at 8 p.m. going until 1 a.m. Eight bands are performing at Blackbird, Buffington's and Dungeon's and Daiquiris. Please join us on Friday, March 1, 2024, at 2 p.m. in the Pat Peterson Museum Education Room to celebrate the life and honor the memory of Dr. Louis M. Bourne. Dr. Bourne was an emeritus professor of Spanish in the Department of World Languages and Cultures and an accomplished poet and author. Alumni, students and faculty will pay tribute to him by reading a selection of poems from his book The Thought of Seeing.
