Last week, the Marketing program in the J. Whitney Bunting College of Business & Technology hosted the final round of the Fall 2025 Elevator Pitch Competition. Almost 350 COBT students competed throughout the semester. The top 20 were invited to compete in a final round competition for the chance to win cash prizes, sponsored by Central Garden & Pet and Fouts Bros Inc. The Learning Center is delighted to continue offering Excel Bootcamps again for spring 2026. Our goal is to provide basic Excel Bootcamp/workshops, outside of your class time, for students who lack a good introduction to this software. Any class is welcome to sign up, especially those who will have Excel-based assignments this semester. German Conversation Table is back on Wednesday, Nov. 12. Stop by the Language Resource Center any time between 2 and 4 p.m. and practice your German speaking skills. Conversation Table provides a laidback way for anyone in the Georgia College & State University community (students, faculty or staff) who is interested in the German language to have a little fun using the language. Support materials will be available to those who need or want them, but open conversation is welcome too. 

The Georgia College & State University campus community is invited to stop by the Language Resource Center on Tuesday, Nov. 11, for Spanish Conversation Table. This drop-in event will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. for anyone who wants to practice their spoken Spanish. Support materials will be provided so that speakers of all levels have the opportunity to work on their spoken Spanish skills. We hope you can join us.

The Language Resource Center invites anyone in the Georgia College & State University campus community who is interested in practicing their Italian skills to drop in between 2 and 4 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 10, for Italian Conversation Table.
