We are honored to host the Georgia Court of Appeals on our campus on Wednesday, Sept. 18 – something that does not happen often, as the court customarily holds its arguments in the Nathan Deal Justice Center Building in downtown Atlanta adjacent to the State Capitol.Beginning at 10:30 a.m. in Magnolia Ballroom, appellate arguments in three cases will be heard for 30 minutes each for a total of 90 minutes. The 2024-2025 Legends of Honors Series—our Zoom-based programs for students, alumni and friends of the Honors College—kicks off with a presentation by Dr. Sunita Manian on Wed., Sept. 25, at 6 p.m. Dr. Manian has taught Honors courses for many years and has served a term on the Honors Faculty Council.
