The MAX will be opening for regular operating hours Thursday, Aug. 17, and we cannot wait to show you around our the newly renovated dining hall!  New food stations, new furniture and more! Breakfast: 7:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Lunch: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dinner: 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Georgia College & State University mourns the loss of its campus neighbor and friend, Miss Louise Florencourt, who passed away this week. A cousin of Flannery O’Connor, Miss Florencourt, 97, also served for much of her life as the co-trustee of the Mary Flannery O’Connor Trust, and worked closely with Matt Davis, GCSU’s Director of Historic Museums, on the restoration and curation of Andalusia, and its designation as a National Historic Landmark. Come out and enjoy our Jazz Jam Session Tuesday, Sept. 12, 7-9 p.m. at Amici Café, downtown Milledgeville, presented by Jazz at Georgia College & State University. Hosted by our faculty and student jazz musicians, the GCSU Jam Session is open to all members of the community interested in working on their jazz and improvisation skills. Bring your instrument if you want to play or come just to enjoy the menu and live music at Amici Café. We hope to see you there!
