Georgia College & State University mourns the loss of its campus neighbor and friend, Miss Louise Florencourt, who passed away this week. A cousin of Flannery O’Connor, Miss Florencourt, 97, also served for much of her life as the co-trustee of the Mary Flannery O’Connor Trust, and worked closely with Matt Davis, GCSU’s Director of Historic Museums, on the restoration and curation of Andalusia, and its designation as a National Historic Landmark.
