Hope everyone is enjoying the summer break. As is normal for the summer as temperatures increase, so does electricity cost to the university. Electricity costs are on the rise as of this week with elevated pricing currently at $.35 per kilowatt hour (an increase of about $.32 higher than normal). All Georgia College & State University furniture purchases must be placed through one of our statewide mandatory contracts. Requisitions entered for furniture purchases through Amazon, Staples, etc. will be denied, and Purchasing will redirect you to a list of mandatory furniture suppliers. This includes marketplace and special requisitions, as well as state p-card request.

This is a reminder to use the 320 North Wayne Street, Milledgeville, GA 31061 address for all special orders. All packages should be delivered to GCSU Central Receiving. UPS, FedEx and other delivery services do not deliver to individual offices on campus.  Do not use the main campus address and never use a personal address for deliveries.

The GCSU West Campus Garden is opening spaces for Georgia College faculty, staff and students. There are spaces available in raised beds and open rows at a cost of $10.00 per space. Students are not charged this fee as they already pay a fee. Availability is first come first serve.
