Saturday, November 9 GCSU’s three choral ensembles will present a combined concert at 7:30 p.m. in First Baptist Church on 330 S. Liberty Street. “Americana” will feature choral works by American composers which span over two hundred and fifty years. The selections are by such notable composers and arrangers as William Billings, Amy Beach, William Dawson, Samuel Barber, Leonard Bernstein, Emma Lou Diemer, Gwyneth Walker and Moses Hogan. Hosted by Chris Enghauser and Don Parker, the GCSU Jam Session is open to all members of the community interested in working on their jazz and improvisation skills.
