Come out and enjoy our Georgia College & State University Jazz Jam Session Tuesday, Sept. 24, 7-9 p.m. at Amici Café in downtown Milledgeville, presented by Jazz at Georgia College. Hosted by our faculty and student jazz musicians, the GCSU Jam Session is open to all members of the community who are interested in working on their jazz and improvisation skills. Bring your instrument if you want to play or come just to enjoy the menu and the live music at Amici Café. We hope to see you there!

The final project for a free certificate course blending business and solar physics at Georgia College & State University will provide $20,000 worth of solar panels to Baldwin County’s Water Treatment Facility. Ten residents who took classes last spring were selected to install 38 solar panels on an EcoFoot2+ Saturday, July 27, beginning at 9 a.m. at the Lamar F. Wednesday, April 23 This year’s Creative Expressions concert, performed by Georgia College & State University music therapy students and adults with ‘disAbilities’ from the Life Enrichment Center in Milledgeville, will be at 6 p.m. in New City Church at the Mill. “Memory Lane” will be  celebrating 25 years of Music Therapy Partnership between GCSU and the LEC.  They will be looking back at some of the greatest hits that their program has produced over the years. They will finish with a homecoming performance in Milledgeville on Wednesday, Dec. 18.Five sets of songs, connected by poetry readings, include settings of traditional carols, Latin motets, and original compositions about the season.
