On Tuesday, Sept. 24, the alleyway between Georgia College & State University's bookstore and the antique store, from the alleyway down to the parking garage, will be closed from 8 a.m. to about noon. 

Why are so many schools banning AI? What will you need to know about AI when you’re working in the real world? At this Science Café, you’ll learn the basics of how AI works, what the cloud really is, and how these symbiotic technologies are changing life as we know it. Join author and edutainer Jill West for coffee, Copilot and conspiracy theories as we chat about how AI is used across industries, what AI life and job skills you’ll need and job roles riding the AI wave. Let’s get techy!

The Milly Farmer's Market is TODAY and every first and third Friday. Hosted by our faculty and student jazz musicians, the GCSU Jam Session is open to all members of the community who are interested in working on their jazz and improvisation skills.
