Last weekend, the Georgia College & State University Forensics Team competed at Berry College's annual "Autumn in the Mountains" forensics tournament. There, team members Halle Bergstrom, Nicholas Wimbish and Joshua Jones took home excellent ballots in Informative Speaking, Prose Interpretation, Impromptu Speaking, Extemporaneous Speaking and Impromptu Sales. Dr. Han, assistant professor of the Communication Department, has recently published a paper titled "Ethical Consumption as Fetishism: Unmasking Capitalist Ideologies, Social Distinctions, and the Educational Imperative."
