Come out and enjoy our GC Jazz Jam Session Tuesday, Jan. 31, 7-9 pm at Amici Café, downtown Milledgeville, presented by Jazz at Georgia College. Hosted by our faculty and student jazz musicians, the GC Jam Session is open to all members of the community interested in working on their jazz and improvisation skills. Bring your instrument if you want to play or come just to enjoy the menu and the live music at Amici Café. We hope to see you there!

Thursday, Jan. 26 The ViMaDeAn Duo will be guest artists at 7:30 p.m. in Max Noah Recital Hall at Georgia College & State University. The concert, “Based on Actual Events,” will feature violinist Anastasia Petrunina and percussionist Denis Petrunin. Petrunina was born in Ukraine and Petrunin is from Russia. Music ranges from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s classical “Concerto No. 1 K. 412/514” and romantic “Cello Sonata” by Edvard Grieg to modern selections.
