Friday, March 8, Georgia College & State University’s Jazz Band presents “Tuneful Jazz” at 7:30 p.m. in Russell Auditorium. The band consists of 15 students on trombone, trumpet, piano, guitar bass and “trap set”—drums, cymbals and other percussion instruments. Come out and enjoy our Georgia College & State University Jazz Jam Session Tuesday, Feb. 27, 7-9 p.m. at Amici Café, downtown Milledgeville, presented by Jazz at Georgia College. Hosted by our faculty and student jazz musicians, the GCSU Jam Session is open to all members of the community interested in working on their jazz and improvisation skills. Bring your instrument if you want to play or come just to enjoy the menu and the live music at Amici Café. We hope to see you there.
