Monday, Sept. 9 The Allen Duo faculty recital, “I Will Not Be Sad In This World,” will be at 7:30 p.m. in Max Noah Recital Hall at Georgia College & State University. The duo consists of faculty members Andrew J. Allen and Elise Naber Allen. They will perform flute and saxophone duets, as well as compositions for solo instruments and electronics. Tuesday, Sept. 3 Pianist Sergio Ruiz, former chair of Georgia College & State University’s Music Department, returns to campus with violinist Javier Pinell for a concert, “From Bolivia with Love: an evening of violin and piano music,” at 7:30 p.m. in Max Noah Recital Hall.
