Thursday, Sept. 4 The Allen Duo faculty recital, “Musings,” will be at 7:30 p.m. in Max Noah Recital Hall at Georgia College & State University. The duo consists of faculty members Andrew J. Tuesday, Sept. 2 A Faculty Chamber Recital, “Voice of the Whale,” will be at 7:30 p.m. in Max Noah Recital Hall at Georgia College & State University. The faculty members Rebecca Cooke, clarinet; Laurie Peebles, flute; Steven Taylor, cello; and Hue Jang, piano will perform Classical and 20th Century music.   The trio by Beethoven is playful, while the “Voice of the Whale,” by George Crumb is mystical and a fantasy-like.
