By popular demand, a professional photographer will take family or group pictures by the big Christmas tree at Georgia's Old Governor's Mansion Friday, Dec. 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. by reservation only. There will also be crafts on site.

Georgia’s Old Governor’s Mansion offers its annual Christmas at the Mansion tours: now through Dec. 22. The mansion is open for tours Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Sunday from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Tours start on the hour and the last tour begins at 4 p.m. It’s closed outside of these dates. Come and listen to Georgia College and State University's Associate Professor of history Dr. James Hill "Trae" Welborn III speak about his new book: "Dueling Cultures, Damnable Legacies: Southern Violence and White Supremacy in the Civil War Era."
