A water main break near the intersection of South Columbia Street and West Greene Street has affected water service for several buildings on campus.
Georgia College Facilities Management has confirmed that the following buildings are without water service:
- Mayfair Hall
- Humber-White House
- Harrison House
- Underwood House
These buildings will remain without water service until the City of Milledgeville completes repairs to the water main.
Once water service is restored, the buildings will be under a boil water advisory until the water supply can be tested for contaminants and water department officials certify it’s safe to drink.
If you are working in one of the affected buildings, please do not consume any water until the City of Milledgeville cancels the boil water advisory.
