Following Governor Kemp’s recent directive prohibiting the use of TikTok on Georgia-owned systems and devices, I would like to share more about how the University System of Georgia plans to move forward. We share the Governor’s concerns and understand similar concerns have caused several states to implement mandates blocking TikTok and its use from public devices and public networks.

Important Campus Safety Information

Submitted by daniel.mcdonal… on

Dear Campus Community:

We wanted to make you aware that two apparent false reports of an active shooter were phoned into the Milledgeville Police Department this morning, first reporting one at Baldwin High School and the second reporting one at a Bellvue or Bell Hall.

Milledgeville and Georgia College Police responded immediately and cleared the building at Bell Hall on our campus and found no shooter nor any other threat, but because armed officers were required to come on campus in a state of alert, we wanted to make you aware of what had happened.
