Thursday, March 12, 7:30p.m.,  Georgia College & State University’s Jazz Band, directed by Jay Wucher,  will perform a variety of selections in different jazz stylistics, entitled, “This One’s For You,”  in Russell Auditorium.  The program was chosen with input by the band members and is intended to showcase several soloists and to celebrate the dedication, talent and commitment to the senior class members of the ensemble. There will be Latin, swing, rock, ballad, and cool jazz charts...

Tuesday, March 3 A Guest Artist and Faculty Chamber Music Recital, “Romantic String Masterworks,” will be held at 7:30 p.m. in Max Noah Recital Hall at Georgia College & State University.  Guest artists Hilary Gamble-Villareal, viola; Jared Cooper, cello; and Chris Enghauser, bass; as well as faculty members Steven Taylor, cello; David H. Guest artists Nick May, saxophone, and Alex Siu Lun Li, piano will be featured. Compositions by Kevin Day, Alex Temple, Ingird Stöthis, Keaton Garrett, Nathan Froebe, and Rex Isenberg will be performed.  A $5 donation is encouraged.
