This event will be held in the Library, room 302 from 1 to 3 p.m., Feb. 15, and will be an opportunity to read from your favorite Black woman author, hear others read and learn about more authors. Over the past few weeks, patrons of The MAX have noticed that we have temporarily switched from traditional dishes and silverware to paper and Styrofoam. This is due to a broken part in the dish washer at The MAX, and we have been informed that a new part may not arrive for two months.  As we await the replacement parts and repairs, Dining Services will work to provide the best possible solution for the campus. Baldwin High School's prom will be held April 20,2024. We are seeking gently used prom dresses and tuxes in all sizes. Many of the students cannot afford to purchase these on their own for such a special occasion. Accessories (jewelry, purses and shoes) would also be appreciated. We are accepting items until April 15, 2024, and they can be dropped off in Chappell Hall #101.

WGUR's annual music festival Sounds of the Spring is back March 1. Join us for our lead-up concert at New City Church. There will be food trucks starting at 5 p.m. and live acoustic sets from Andalusia and Perfect Animal starting at 6 p.m. A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit the life enrichment center in Milledgeville.
