Happy Valentine's Day! Join Academic Outreach at the Fountain Feb. 14 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. to play with water through our Georgia College & State University Thirst for Knowledge Program. We will have: * Stream table:  Learn more about how a stream moves and how sediments travel. * Water color poppies: Make your own colorful poppy using the capillary action of water. * H2Olymics: How many drops of water can you get on a penny? This is an open call for applications to teach a three-credit summer course in the Georgia College & State University Bridge Scholars Program (BSP). Faculty members are needed to teach Area A-E core courses for the summer 2024 Bridge Scholars Program. Core courses meet in the morning (9 a.m.- 12 p.m.) or afternoon (1:30-4:30 p.m.) Monday-Friday between June 16 and July 28, 2024. BSP is a year-long Residential Learning Community which gives approximately 125 freshmen a head start on...

The Georgia College & State University Department of Athletics will hold its annual Faculty/Staff Appreciation Night Feb. 21 when the Bobcats host Clayton State University in a Peach Belt Conference basketball doubleheader in the Centennial Center. The women's game will tip at 5:30 p.m. followed by the men's game at approximately 7:30 p.m. There's free admission for all GCSU faculty and staff along with their family members. Wear your best GCSU gear and colors.
