On Monday, Oct. 6, at 5:30 p.m. in the Mayfair Hall presentation room, Dr. Brad Rice, emeritus professor of History at Clayton State University, will discuss his new book on Joshua Hill of Madison: Civil War Unionist and Georgia's First Republican Senator, 1812-1881 (Mercer University Press). Dr. Rice will focus on Hill’s role during Reconstruction, and he will reflect on the process of research and writing and how it has changed over his half century as a historian. All are welcome...
