Over the recent fall break, from Oct. 12 to Oct. 15, the Honors College took more than 40 students to New Orleans, where they visited the World War II Museum and the Whitney Plantation and toured the French Quarter. Honors College alumna Caroline Cole ’24 has earned a Phi Kappa Phi Graduate Fellowship. At GCSU, she majored in History and minored in Museum Studies and was one a Valedictorial of the class of 2024. The Honors College will be selecting an alum and a young alum of the year for 2024. Those individuals will, in turn, become candidates for the Alumni Achievement Award and the Outstanding Recent Alumni Award, which are given by the Alumni Office.
