School Dude, the system we use to facilitate work orders on campus, had a breach where the hackers obtained your email address and your password (in addition to your name, phone number, and school district). What’s new? Beginning Thursday, 5/11/2023, it will be easier than ever for faculty and staff to manage your GCSU account password, which gives access to Unify and Microsoft products. Our Serve Help Desk team is here to serve you.  Please note our modified Summer 2023 hours beginning Monday, 5/8/2023. During the Summer months, Serve will be open 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to noon on Fridays. Serve will offer telephone and email support between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Saturdays and noon to 6 p.m. on Sundays.

Last night most everyone at GCSU received a scam email from a student account at GCSU with the Subject: "RA NEEDED URGENTLY!!!"  The student account was compromised by an overseas hacker, who posed as a faculty member. This email is a scam, and IT is working to remediate the damage. There were no URLs provided, but the hacker is asking people to call him.
