The National Weather Service (NWS) of Peachtree City has issued a tornado watch for Baldwin County for today, May 9, until 5 p.m. The NWS is expecting heavy rainfall, thunderstorms and strong winds in the area beginning around noon and into early afternoon. Georgia College & State University will test the Outdoor Emergency Notification System (siren system) Wednesday, April 3, 2024. This test is scheduled to occur the first Wednesday of every month between 10 a.m. and noon and will last approximately one minute. Georgia College has answered the call in providing medical supplies to aid in the fight against COVID-19 across the state of Georgia.
