Over the past few weeks, patrons of The MAX have noticed that we have temporarily switched from traditional dishes and silverware to paper and Styrofoam. This is due to a broken part in the dish washer at The MAX, and we have been informed that a new part may not arrive for two months. As we await the replacement parts and repairs, Dining Services will work to provide the best possible solution for the campus. The economic challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic stretch worldwide. Many face reduced hours or in some cases unemployment. This is a difficult time for many, including Georgia College dining’s frontline staff. However the university and their dining partner, Sodexo, are working to help employees as much as possible.
