If you previously contributed to a Healthcare Flexible Spending Account (FSA) in 2023 and switched to a Healthcare Savings Account (HSA) for 2024, you must have had a zero-dollar balance in your Healthcare FSA on or before Dec. 31, 2023, to begin making contributions to your HSA on Jan. 1, 2024.
