Friday, Dec. 5 Georgia College and State University’s 18th Annual “Holiday Concert” at 7:30 p.m. in Russell Auditorium will help get you in the spirit of the season. The entire music department comes together for this uplifting tradition. Thursday, Nov. 13 Georgia College & State University’s Music Department presents the GCSU Opera Scenes Ensemble: Act II of the Operetta, The Merry Widow, by Franz Lehár at 7:30 p.m. in Max Noah Recital Hall. Ten students and one community member will perform the entire Act II from this Operetta. Thursday, Nov. 6 Georgia College & State University will hold its Chamber Music Ensembles concert at 7:30 p.m. in Max Noah Recital Hall, featuring small ensembles from the areas of strings, winds, brass, percussion, keyboard, Jazz, and vocals including a wide variety of music from all eras.
