The GCSU West Campus Garden is opening up for the Summer Rental Program. There are spaces available in raised beds and open row garden at a cost of $10 per space. Students are not charged this fee as they are already charged a fee when they pay their tuition. Availability is first come, first serve. In February, senior theatre major Mary Morgan Collier of Athens, Georgia, competed and won the Region IV Student Dramaturg Award from Literary Managers and Dramaturgs of the Americas  and the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival.
