Dr. Steve Elliott-Gower and Dr. H. Lee Gillis, Jr. have been named the 2024 faculty award recipients by the Georgia College Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa. Elliott-Gower, who is associate professor of political science, is the recipient of the Flisch-Harris Award for Leadership in the Cause of a Liberal Education. High demand alert: Electricity usage for Jan. 17

Georgia Power has issued an alert for Wednesday, Jan. 17, as extremely cold temperatures have triggered high demand across the regional power grid resulting in exceptionally high peak-hour pricing, particularly during morning hours of 7 a.m. through noon.  The campus community is asked to consider shutting down non-essential lighting and unplugging non-essential equipment during this peak-hour period.  If you have access to windows, use natural light.  Turn lights off when you leave...

Print/mailed 2023 W-2s: If employees did not consent to receive their 2023 W-2 electronically by the Dec. 31, 2023 deadline, they will receive their W-2 by mail on or before Jan. 31, 2024.  Electronic 2023 W-2s are now available in OneUSG Connect.
